Couldn't Believe My Eyes

Before we began our second day's drive to Florida, we stopped at a gas station in Virginia to fill the tank. While waiting, I looked up and saw this set up where you could get your car washed and waxed in just five minutes. I immediately thought of our "American Businessman," Zachary Ryan, who is always looking for ways to make money. I would love to know how these two men could do a spray wax in five minutes. If I wasn't such a chicken who loves her car, I would have found out. Maybe next year.

Chocolate Boy

I took this picture the week before we left for Florida. Alex wanted to eat his ice cream in the living room. Papa said no; he would make a mess. Alex ran into the spare room and emerged carrying his green lap tray. We both laughed at his quick response. I have to admit, Alex, you look great in chocolate:~)

Ice Castles vs. Sand Castles

Girls, your Dad sent Papa and me this picture last week. We got the biggest kick out of the text he sent: Ice Castles vs. Sand Castles. Your Dad is quick and has such a way with words. We hope you had as much fun as we did sitting at the sandy beach in Deerfield, Florida. We miss you all bunches and bunches. But before you know it, the month will be over.

Good Job Zack!

Congratulations, Zack. Nana and Papa were doing the happy dance. You are now a "Yellow Belt." Uncle Corey told us how good and focused you were. Our thoughts were with you that day. It goes without saying how very proud we are of you. Of course, we have been since that first day your Mom and Dad sent home the first picture of you. I love that you had a picture taken with your brother. Alex looks up to you and you give him so much love and attention (most of the time).

The weather here in Deerfield, Florida has finally gotten beautiful; sunny and warm. Today is definitely a beach day. Send us an email when you can.
Hugs and kisses,
